Dr. Shahaji More

Dr. Shahaji More is is a Principal Engineer at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from IIT Bombay in 2013.

Prof. Aditya G. Parameswaran

Prof. Aditya G. Parameswaran is an Associate Professor in the School of Information (I School) and Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at UC Berkeley and Co-founder and President of his startup named ‘Ponder’. He obtained his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2007 and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2013. He did his postdoctoral research at Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2014.

Dr. Keshab Panda

Dr. Keshab Panda is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Larson & Toubro Technology Services (LTTS) Limited and Senior Advisor PE & Startup and Principal Mentor – Tech Services for Global Companies. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from IIT Bombay in Aero Servo Elasticity – (Control system fly by wire aircraft), in 1994. He also obtained an advanced management degree ‘Executive Management’ from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in 2011.

Prof. Harmit Singh Malik

Prof. Harmit Singh Malik is Professor and co-Associate Director in the Division of Basic Sciences and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. He earned his B. Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1993 and Ph.D. degree in Biology from the University of Rochester in 1999. Prof. Mallik then moved to Seattle to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (the “Hutch”), to do his postdoc.

Dr. Premnath Venugopalan

Dr. Premnath Venugopalan is currently the Head of National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) Innovations and Chief Scientist at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory in Pune. He is also the Founder Director of Venture Center, Pune. He obtained his B. Tech. degree in Chemistry from IIT Bombay in 1999, Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA in 1997. He has also been a Chevening Technology Enterprise Scholar with the Centre for Scientific Enterprises, London Business School and Cambridge University, UK during 2004-05.

Prof. Navakanta Bhat

Prof. Navakanta Bhat is the Dean of the Division of Interdisciplinary Science and Professor in the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. He obtained his M. Tech. And Ph.d. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay and the Stanford University in 1992 and 1996 respectively. Prof. Bhat worked as a Senior Device Engineer at Motorola’s Networking and Computing Systems Group under Advanced Products R&D Lab (APRDL) in Austin, TX until 1999. At Motorola, he worked on logic technology development and was responsible for developing high performance transistor design and dual gate oxide technology for PowerPC microprocessors. Prof. Bhat joined the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore in 1999, as an Assistant Professor in the ECE department.  rough highly interdisciplinary collaboration with other colleagues, he was responsible for a major initiative at IISc in Nanoelectronics, which eventually led to the creation of Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) at IISc. Prof. Bhat was instrumental in creating the National Nanofabrication Centre (NNfC), benchmarked against the best university facilities in the world. In 2010, he moved from ECE to CeNSE as one of the founding faculty and became the Chair of the department in 2016. From 2020 Prof. Bhat has been the Dean of Division of Interdisciplinary Sciences at IISc. During 2015-16, Prof. Bhat was on sabbatical leave from IISc, to co-found a start-up, PathShodh Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., and served as the CEO of the company. At PathShodh, Prof Bhat continues as Prof. Navakanta Bhat M. Tech., 1992, Electrical Engineering 29 non-executive Chair of Board of Governors.
