Prof. Devavrat Shah

Prof. Devavrat Shah is Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Adjunct Professor at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) in Mumbai and Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Ikigai Labs. Prof. Shah earned his Tech. degree (awarded President of India Gold Medal) in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1999 and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2004.nnProf. Shah, after completing his Ph.D., joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of  EECS  at  the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (in 2005), where he is currently a Full Professor. He was Chief Scientist and Co-Founder of Celect, Inc from 2013 to 2019. He is a Founding Director, Statistics and Data Science Center, MIT (2016-2020) and Co-Founder, CTO of Ikigai Labs Inc. from 2019.

Prof. Govindasamy Mugesh

Prof. Govindasamy Mugesh is a Professor in the Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from IIT Bombay in 1999.nnWhile completing his Ph.D., Prof. Mugesh worked with IIT Bombay as a Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry during 1998-2000. During 2000-2006, Prof. Mugesh joined the Institute of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Technical University, Braunschweig in Germany; in 2001, he worked as a Visiting AvH Fellow (with Prof. Helmut Sies) at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Heinrich- Heine University in Germany and as Skaggs Postdoctoral Fellow (with Prof. K. C. Nicolaou) in the Department of Chemistry and The Skaggs Institute for Chemical Biology,    The   Scripps  Research Institute, CA, USA. Prof. Mugesh joined  IISc  Bangalore in  2006 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry.nn
