Distinguished IITB alumnus, Dr. Pramod Chaudhari, Founder Chairman of Praj Industries, was honoured with the distinguished Fellowship from the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). He was conferred with the honour during INAE’s Annual Convention 2023 held in Bhubaneswar.

Among the notable figures joining Dr. Chaudhari in the INAE fellowship batch for 2023 were:

• Mr. Satya Nadella, Executive Chairman & CEO of Microsoft
• Mr. K. Krithivasan, CEO of Tata Consultancy Services
• Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Founder Chairman of Bharti Enterprises
• Other dignitaries from the academic and corporate spheres

In his gracious acceptance note, Dr. Chaudhari dedicated the honour to the countless individuals who have supported him on his journey, and contributing to his vision of leveraging science and technology to make the world a better place.

The INAE, established in 1987, comprises India’s foremost Engineers, Engineer-Scientists, and Technologists across diverse engineering disciplines. Serving as an apex body, INAE champions the application of engineering, technology, and related sciences to address critical national challenges. The fellowship is awarded to individuals of exceptional merit and distinctive eminence in new and developing fields of technology.
