IIT Bombay signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its Distinguished Alumnus, Mr. Mohan Kavrie (B.Tech., Civil Engineering, 1971), on June 27, 2023, to set up an Alumni Centre on campus.

The Alumni Centre will create an inspiring and inclusive atmosphere for IIT Bombay’s alumni community. It’s a place to call their own when they come to visit their alma mater. The Centre will also allow them to reconnect, collaborate, and spend quality time with the extended IIT Bombay family and strengthen their engagement with the Institute. The Centre will have dedicated working spaces, a spacious auditorium, and versatile event rooms.

IIT Bombay is extremely grateful to Mr. Kavrie for his philanthropic contribution and his commitment to fostering a stronger bond between IIT Bombay and its cherished alumni. This initiative will, undoubtedly, create endless opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and lifelong connections.
