In a one-of-its-kind, IIT Bombay has introduced a new course presented by Justice U.U. Lalit, Former Chief Justice of India and Distinguished Visiting Professor at ADCPS. Titled “Affirmative Action in India: A Brief Constitutional History,” the course offers comprehensive insights into India’s legal and political framework, emphasizing social justice and affirmative action policies. Additionally, it seeks to facilitate students’ in-depth comprehension of the Constitution. Notably, this course marks the first of its kind to be included in the curriculum at IIT Bombay.
