Inauguration of ChemE Tinkerers’ Lab

We are delighted to invite you to the inauguration of the ChemE Tinkerers’ Lab by the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay. This lab has been established through the generous funding from Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited, a leading manufacturer of aliphatic amines in India as part of their CSR initiative. This lab will facilitate “hands on” learning for our engineering students while also equipping them with a physical environment that is conducive for technological innovations.
Chief Guest, Padma Vibhushan awardee and Emeritus Professor of Eminence, Institute of Chemical Technology, Prof. M.M Sharma, will preside over the inaugural ceremony. Other diginatries at the ceremony include Shri Yogesh M. Kothari, Chairman and Managing Director of Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited, Prof. Devang Khakhar, former Director of IIT Bombay, Prof. Madhu Vinjamur, Head of Department of Chemical Engineering and Prof. Venkat Gundabala, coordinating Professor, ChemE Tinkerers’ Lab.
