Prof. Narayandas has published articles in leading academic journals in the business including, among others, the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing and Harvard Business Review and co-authored two textbooks in the area of business marketing and customer management. He has also published over 40 cases, notes, and simulations in the field of business marketing and leadership.

Prof. Das Narayandas is Edsel Bryant Ford Professor of Business Administration and Senior Associate Dean at External Relations and Publishing, Harvard Business School (HBS). Prof. Narayandas earned his B.Tech. Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1982, postgraduate diploma in management from IIM Bangalore and a Ph.D. degree from Purdue University. He has been a faculty member at the Harvard Business School for the last 25 years.
