Mr. Shantanu Khosla

Mr. Shantanu Khosla graduated in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1981 and received his Master’s in Business Administration from IIM Calcutta.

Mr. Khosla joined P&G India in 1983 and has worked in various marketing assignments in India, the United Kingdom and Japan. He was appointed Managing Director for P&G Malaysia/Singapore in 1998. Prior to taking on the additional responsibility for the business in India he was based in Singapore with responsibility for the regional Health Care business.

Since July 2008, Mr. Khosla is the Vice President-India based in Mumbai. He is the Managing Director of three P&G subsidiaries in India, of which two are listed on the Stock Exchanges. Mr. Khosla enjoys strong work feedback from business partners across markets, businesses and functions. P&G India capability under him has been consistently recognized as Best in Class across functions and levels. His expertise to build in multifunctional capabilities has been the backbone of successful operation of different business strategies and tracking programmes developed across functions as P&G India priority.

Mr. Khosla’s focus on sustainable growth for P&G India has led to strong sustainability programmes such as the India’s flagship social responsibility programme P&G Shiksha (education) as breakthrough environmental sustainability programmes across P&G India’s plants. P&G Shiksha, in its eighth year, has helped educating over 385,000 underprivileged children, across over 200 schools in India, while strengthening equity for P&G India.
