Mr. Rameshwar Kumar Maini

Mr. Rameshwar Kumar Maini is the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Zentech Technical Services Inc. of Houston, Texas, USA.

Mr. Maini earned his BTech degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1967 and Masters Degree in Applied Science (MASc) from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 1968. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, USA.

Mr. Maini is one of the founding partners of Zentech Technical Services Inc and has served as its President for more than 40 years. Under his guidance and leadership, Zentech has participated in many innovative projects around the world. The company provides innovative engineering solutions and employs a professional staff of over 160 in seven international locations.

During his 50 years career as a structural engineer, he is actively participating in design and construction management of many of the offshore oil and gas structures and marine vessels with seven offices around the world serving major disciplines of engineering such as Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Architectural, Software and Construction Management. He has worked as a rig mover in the North Sea.

Mr. Maini has won many awards including Award for Best Technology in USA and in Dubai – 2016; American Society of Indian Engineers (ASIE)- 2017; Member of Society of Petroleum Engineers; Fellow of Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers; Finalist in the 2015 nominees for the “Innovative Thinker” award for World Oil and nominated for two awards in 2015, three awards in 2016 and 5 awards in 2017. He has number of patents for initiative ideas to his credit.


Special Memories

“During my stay at IIT Bombay, I was actively involved in sports, music and studies. In the IIT meet in 1966, I carried the banner for IIT Bombay, ran all races from 100m to 5000m every year and won a number of first prizes. I even sang. I was the monitor of Hostel 6 and in the number one position in third and fourth year of Civil Engineering Class."
