The UAVs of ideaForge have been deployed in all major anti-terror operations, disaster management, and crowd management in the Indian subcontinent. These ultralight, tightly integrated systems (drone) are fully autonomous and man-portable. These are deployed during the summer in the deserts of Rajasthan and in the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas, sometimes even above 5000m. The systems are capable of being operated even in the marshes of Sunderbans to down south on the sea. The ability of these drones to not only survive but also perform flawlessly in extreme environmental conditions is a testament to the testing standards set by Mr. Singh.

The efficiency of UAVs developed by ideaForge, to operate effortlessly with minimal training has made ideaForge an acknowledged global technology leader in the VTOL Micro and Mini UAV space and is the market leader in delivering military-grade premium drones in India for surveillance and mapping, with more than 90% market share.

Despite challenges of forecasting demands and preparation time required to fulfill required volume from government customers, Mr. Singh always ensures timely delivery of the product. He has been managing engineering and assembly both, in a high-mix, low-volume, and unpredictable demand environment with aplomb for years.

Mr. Singh is highly passionate about technology and has eight patents to his credit. Special Memories

“It was at IIT Bombay where I and my team independently discovered the quadrotor configuration that laid the foundation of ideaForge. As a student, I led competitions that attracted students in droves to IIT-Bombay’s Techfest and created meaningful learning experiences for them. I spearheaded all the mechanical hardware of the projects/ competitions I participated in, including the winning team at ABU-ROBOCON in India. I was awarded a technical citation by IIT Bombay’s student community.

I have formed endearing bonds with several of my batchmates with whom I have been friends for over 15 years now. I have gained immensely from their experience and they have been inspiring me ever since to break the proverbial glass ceiling.”
