Mr. Akhil Gupta is Founder and Chief Technology and Product Officer at NoBroker. com. He received his dual degree (B.Tech.+M.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2000.

Prior to founding NoBroker, Mr. Gupta worked with Oracle. During his stint at Oracle, he led the Oracle Sales Cloud product from India and filed a patent and received several awards.

Mr. Gupta co-founded NoBroker in 2014. In last 6 years, this disruptive platform is continuously innovating and spearheading industry’s multiple first innovations that have been showcased as global case studies by Google, Facebook and WhatsApp.

Mr. Gupta single-handedly coded and managed the NoBroker platform during bootstrapping days for 11 months in 2014 and it was NoBroker’s first ML/ AI technology – led approach that today NoBroker.com is India’s largest real estate platform and the choice of over 10 million customers for property search and home services (painting, cleaning, packers and movers). It enables transactions worth $2B annually and saves upwards of $200M of brokerage for its customers every year. NoBroker concept is a best example of ‘Make In India’ for (India) Indians as no platform like this existed anywhere in the world and many of the venture capitalists even rejected the idea as something like this didn’t exists in the West.

NoBroker.com, under Mr. Gupta’s leadership, has won multiple accolades including the elite ‘Champions of Change’ organized by Niti Ayog, Promising Start-up of the Year (2017) by the Government of Gujarat, India’s Coolest Start-up by India Today.

Success Mantra

My most cherished memories include making friends for life, the time I spent at my hostel and my wing (Champs), my DD2K batch and 5th year of dual degree program. All of those years have been instrumental in inculcating the desire to innovate and in infusing confidence in me to achieve anything. Publishing research paper on DDP thesis and winning PAF when I was General Secretary of my hostel (H-3) are among experiences that I will treasure for life.
