Special Memories

I came to IIT Bombay in 1963 when | was just 17 years old. The campus, it's bucolic ambience, the massive rains in August, playing shuttlecock in a small indoor arena, complaining about the hostel food and the periodical exams on every Monday and Thursday, wondering why an “would be” Engineer has to learn so much Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the first 2 years, my hostel warden Mr. Bapat, my professors and close friends. And of course, the lack of Girls in the campus.
